Cereal Mix:

Praline Mixture:

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Cereal and Pecans: In a large bowl, mix the cereal and pecans.
  3. Prepare Praline Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Coat Cereal Mix: Pour the hot mixture over the cereal and pecans. Gently stir to coat evenly.
  5. Bake: Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
