Ingredients

Scale

Pizza Base and Sauce

  • 1 large Stone Fire 14-inch pizza crust
  • 3/4 cup white pizza sauce (see notes)

Toppings

  • 1 bag frozen spinach
  • 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes, diced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for topping
  • Red pepper flakes, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it reaches the ideal temperature for baking the pizza crust to a golden crisp.
  2. Cook the Spinach: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the frozen spinach until all the water has evaporated. Season it with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Assemble the Pizza: Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza pan. Evenly spread the white pizza sauce over the crust, then layer the cooked spinach and diced sun-dried tomatoes on top.
  4. Bake the Pizza: Put the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and crispy.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes on top, slice into portions, and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • White pizza sauce can be a creamy béchamel or ricotta-based sauce depending on preference.
  • Sun-dried tomatoes add a sweet and tangy flavor contrast to the savory spinach topping.
  • You can substitute fresh spinach if preferred; just sauté until wilted and all moisture evaporated.
  • Adjust seasoning and cheese toppings to suit your taste.
