Pizza Base and Sauce
- 1 large Stone Fire 14-inch pizza crust
- 3/4 cup white pizza sauce (see notes)
Toppings
- 1 bag frozen spinach
- 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes, diced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for topping
- Red pepper flakes, for topping
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it reaches the ideal temperature for baking the pizza crust to a golden crisp.
- Cook the Spinach: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the frozen spinach until all the water has evaporated. Season it with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat and set aside.
- Assemble the Pizza: Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza pan. Evenly spread the white pizza sauce over the crust, then layer the cooked spinach and diced sun-dried tomatoes on top.
- Bake the Pizza: Put the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and crispy.
- Finish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes on top, slice into portions, and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- White pizza sauce can be a creamy béchamel or ricotta-based sauce depending on preference.
- Sun-dried tomatoes add a sweet and tangy flavor contrast to the savory spinach topping.
- You can substitute fresh spinach if preferred; just sauté until wilted and all moisture evaporated.
- Adjust seasoning and cheese toppings to suit your taste.
