Fettuccini:

  • 16 oz box fettuccini

Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Smoked Sausage Mixture:

  • 13 oz package of any flavor smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 tbs butter

Cheese Mixture:

  • 5.2 oz package Garlic and Herb flavored Boursin Cheese
  • 11.5 cups grated parmesan
  • 23 cups reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fettuccini: Boil a large pot of water with salt and chicken bouillon. Cook fettuccini until al dente, reserving 2 cups of pasta water.
  2. Prepare the Smoked Sausage Mixture: In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté sliced smoked sausage and diced onion until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Make the Cheese Sauce: Add Boursin cheese and 2 cups of pasta water to the sausage mixture. Stir until melted. Add parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce, mixing well. Adjust consistency with more pasta water if needed. Serve hot and enjoy!
