  • 8 qt. cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix the Coffee Base: Combine ground coffee and cold water in a large container. Cover and let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours.
  2. Strain the Coffee: Line a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth over a pitcher. Pour the coffee/water mixture through the strainer, discarding the grounds.
  3. Cool the Coffee: Refrigerate the coffee liquid until chilled.
  4. Prepare Iced Coffee: Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour 2/3 full with coffee liquid. Add half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk (or sugar), and stir. Adjust sweetness to taste.
