Cabbage:

Burger Mixture:

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg (optional, for binding)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare cabbage: Slice the cabbage into thick rounds, brush with olive oil, and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Make the burger mixture: Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and egg (if using) in a bowl.
  4. Assemble the burgers: Press meat mixture onto each cabbage slice to shape into a patty.
  5. Bake: Bake for 25 minutes, then top each burger with cheese.
