Ingredients

Scale

Kinder Mixture

  • 45 g Kinder Bueno spread (3 tbsp)
  • 40 g Milk (3 tbsp)

Cookie Layer

  • 25 Waffle cookies (whole, for soaking)

Filling

  • 400 g Cream cheese (1 3/4 cups)
  • 200 g Heavy whipping cream 35% fat (3/4 cup)
  • 200 g Kinder spread (1 cup), save 4 tbsp for layering
  • 40 g Sugar (3 tbsp)

Topping

  • Milk Kinder Bueno bars (2 bars)
  • White chocolate Kinder Bueno bars (2 bars)
  • 100 g Milk chocolate (3/4 cup)
  • 140 g Kinder Bueno spread (1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Soaking Mixture: In a small bowl, mix 45 g Kinder Bueno spread with 40 g milk until smooth to create the soaking liquid for the waffles.
  2. Soak Waffle Cookies: Lightly soak the whole waffle cookies in the Kinder-milk mixture. Ensure they absorb the flavor but remain intact without becoming soggy.
  3. Whip Cream: Using a whisk or electric mixer, whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip to maintain a light texture.
  4. Mix Cream Cheese and Kinder Spread: In a separate bowl, fold the cream cheese with the Kinder spread gently using a spatula. Avoid whisking to keep the mixture smooth and airy.
  5. Combine Whipped Cream and Cream Cheese Mixture: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until evenly combined and smooth without deflating the whipped cream.
  6. Layer Cookies: Place a layer of the soaked waffle cookies evenly at the bottom of your square pan to form the base layer.
  7. Layer Kinder Spread: Spread a thin layer of Kinder spread (reserve about 4 tbsp from the total) over the cookie layer to add rich chocolate flavor.
  8. Add Cream Filling: Spoon and spread a layer of the Kinder cream cheese and whipped cream filling on top of the Kinder spread.
  9. Repeat Layers: Add another layer of soaked waffle cookies, followed by another thin layer of Kinder spread, and top with the remaining filling to complete the layered dessert.
  10. Smooth and Chill: Smooth the top layer with a spatula and refrigerate the dessert for at least 8 hours or overnight to set properly and meld flavors.
  11. Melt and Pour Kinder Spread: Melt the reserved 140 g Kinder Bueno spread gently and pour over half of the chilled dessert to create a rich topping.
  12. Melt Milk Chocolate: Chop the 100 g milk chocolate and melt in the microwave in 10–15 second intervals, stirring in between, or use a double boiler. Ensure no water enters the chocolate and do not overheat. Pour melted milk chocolate over the other half of the dessert evenly.
  13. Add Kinder Bueno Bars: Break the milk and white chocolate Kinder Bueno bars into smaller pieces and arrange them on top of the dessert as a crunchy, decorative garnish.

Notes

  • Do not over-soak the waffle cookies to prevent them from becoming too soggy.
  • Carefully fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to maintain a light texture.
  • Refrigerate the dessert overnight for best flavor and structure.
  • When melting chocolate, avoid any contact with water to prevent seizing.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and eaten within 3 days for optimum freshness.
