  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs and Flavorings: Add eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon juice, zest, and vanilla extract.
  4. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
  5. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 22–25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool: Let brownies cool completely in the pan before adding glaze.
  7. Prepare Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
  8. Glaze Brownies: Spread glaze evenly over cooled brownies and chill for 15 minutes before slicing.
