These Halloween Crescent Roll Witches Hats are a fun and festive appetizer perfect for any Halloween gathering. Flaky crescent rolls are transformed into adorable witch hats with a savory garlic and Parmesan topping.

Crescent Roll Hats:

  • 8 oz crescent rolls

Topping:

  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese (finely grated)
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese (cut into strips, for garnish)
  • 8 black olives (sliced for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll: Unroll 8 oz crescent rolls and separate each triangle. Roll the wide end of the triangle a couple of times to make the brim of the hat and then slightly round the tips of the hat. Repeat with all of the crescent rolls.
  3. Brush: In a small bowl, mix together 2 Tbsp butter, ½ tsp garlic powder, and ½ tsp Italian seasoning until well combined. Then, brush the mixture on each of the crescent rolls and sprinkle 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese on top.
  4. Bake: Bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) for 8-10 minutes, or until the hats are golden brown in color.
  5. Cool: Remove the crescent rolls from the oven and allow them to cool completely before decorating them.
  6. Decorate: Place slices of 4 oz cheddar cheese onto each hat followed by one of your 8 black olives for the buckle. Serve immediately.
