Main Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh pineapple

Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark rum (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pineapple: Cut off the top and bottom, remove the rind, and cut into spears or rings. Remove the core of the rings and place in a zip-top bag.
  2. Marinate the Pineapple: Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, rum, cinnamon, and salt. Toss with pineapple and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Grill the Pineapple: Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the pineapple for 4-6 minutes per side, basting with marinade.
  4. Serve: Transfer to a platter and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum.
