Ingredients

Scale

Bread Dough:

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 3 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 (1 pound) loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan. Combine butter, green onion, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, and salt in a medium bowl until well blended.
  2. Assemble the Monkey Bread: Break bread dough into walnut-sized pieces; dip into egg mixture. Place 1 layer of egg-dipped dough pieces into the prepared pan until the bottom is covered; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat dipping, layering, and sprinkling until all dough pieces and Parmesan are in the pan.
  3. Rise and Bake: Loosely cover the pan and let it rise until doubled in volume, about 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
