This Firework Oreo Cheesecake is a festive and delicious dessert that’s perfect for any celebration. With a red velvet Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and colorful toppings, it’s sure to impress your guests.

Oreo Crust

  • 25 Oreos red velvet or regular- double stuffed
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp gel food coloring (if using regular Oreos)

Cheesecake Filling

  • 32 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 16 Oreos, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oreo Crust: Crush Oreos in a processor, then add melted butter and food coloring if using regular Oreos. Pat down the mixture in an 8×8 dish and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a KitchenAid Mixer, mix softened cream cheese until creamy. Slowly add sugar and vanilla. Fold in all but 1/2 cup of chopped Oreos and Cool Whip.
  3. Assemble: Sprinkle remaining chopped Oreos on top. Add desired sprinkles or pop rocks. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours to set.
  4. Serve: Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can use different colored Oreo cookies for a fun twist.
