  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 green onions (minced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 2 oz mushrooms (minced)

Wrapper and Cooking:

  • 12 rice paper (22 cm, plus more if needed)
  • Avocado oil (or your favorite cooking oil, for pan frying)

Dipping Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • OPTIONAL: 1/4 tsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)

Instructions

  1. Dipping Sauce: Mix all ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Filling: Combine pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, tamari sauce, and sea salt, and mix until just combined.
  3. Cooking Filling: Sauté cabbage, carrot, and mushrooms in sesame oil until slightly softened.
  4. Assembly: Soften rice paper in water, fill with pork mixture, fold, and roll up to create dumplings.
  5. Pan-Frying: Pan-fry dumplings in oil until golden and crispy.
  6. Air Fryer: Preheat to 400°F, then air fry dumplings until crispy.
  7. Serve: Enjoy warm with the dipping sauce!

  • You can customize the filling with your favorite ingredients like shrimp, tofu, or different vegetables.
  • For a vegetarian version, replace the pork with plant-based protein like crumbled tofu or tempeh.
