Cookie Dough:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar (gently packed)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour (pre-cooked*)
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Assembly:

  • 56 mini pretzels
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening (for thinning the chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Pre-cook the flour: Place the flour on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350˚F for 5 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. Prepare the cookie dough: In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add milk, vanilla, flour, salt, and mini chocolate chips. Mix well.
  3. Form the bites: Roll the dough into balls, sandwich between two pretzels, and freeze for 20 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave.
  5. Dip and chill: Dip the pretzel bites in chocolate, refrigerate for 15 minutes to set. Store in the refrigerator.
