  • 5 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan. Spray a 9×13 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the bars from sticking and make removal easier.
  2. Melt marshmallows and butter. In a large bowl, combine the mini marshmallows and butter. Microwave for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. If needed, microwave for another minute to ensure all marshmallows are melted completely.
  3. Mix cereal. Once the marshmallow mixture is smooth, add the 5 cups of Honey Nut Cheerios. Stir gently until the cereal is thoroughly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press into pan. Pour the coated cereal into the prepared pan. Using buttered hands or a greased piece of parchment paper, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan to form the bars.
  5. Add toppings. Evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips and M&M candies over the warm cereal bars to create a colorful and tasty topping.
  6. Melt white chocolate. In a small bowl, melt the 1/2 cup white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave using 20-second bursts, stirring after each interval until fully melted and smooth.
  7. Drizzle white chocolate. Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the bars to add an appealing finish and a touch of extra sweetness.
  8. Cool and serve. Allow the bars to cool for 1 hour at room temperature until they set. Once cooled, slice into bars and serve.
