  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cake flour

For the Cinnamon Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients. Chill the dough.
  2. Make the Filling: Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour until smooth.
  3. Assemble the Cookies: Flatten dough, add filling, seal edges, and form into balls. Place on baking sheets.
  4. Bake the Cookies: Bake at 350°F for 11-13 minutes until set and golden. Cool on a rack.
  5. Add the Cinnamon Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and milk. Glaze cooled cookies.
