  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 34 Tbsp heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 325℉.
  2. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting. Lightly spray with baking spray.
  3. Make the Pastry: Cream butter and brown sugar, then add egg, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, salt, and flour. Mix until combined.
  4. Assemble: Press half of the dough into the pan. Spread filling mixture over the dough. Place the remaining dough square on top.
