Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried black beans
- 60 grams nuts or seeds of choice
- Boiling water for soaking
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (certified GF, as needed)
- Optional: 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Soak beans and nuts/seeds: Place dried black beans and nuts/seeds in a bowl. Cover with boiling water and let sit for 30 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water.
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 350F (180C) and line a baking sheet.
- Blend: Process drained beans and nuts/seeds with fresh water until smooth. Add baking powder, salt, and blend.
- Pour batter: Spread batter on baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 15 minutes at 350F.
- Cut chips: Cut into triangle shapes and bake at 325F for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool: Cool chips on a rack before enjoying.
