Instructions

  1. Make the Custard – Place milk in a bowl, sprinkle gelatin, and let it sit. Prepare custard.
  2. Whisk Egg Mixture – Combine egg yolks and sugar until frothy.
  3. Heat Cream – Simmer cream in a saucepan.
  4. Temper Eggs – Slowly add hot cream to egg mixture.
  5. Combine Mixtures – Mix tempered eggs back into cream.
  6. Thicken Custard – Heat until slightly thickened.
  7. Add Gelatin – Mix gelatin into custard.
  8. Set Custard – Cool custard, whisking frequently.
  9. Whip Cream – Whip cold cream until soft peaks form.
