  • 4 small croissants

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  • 12 tablespoons chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Slice Croissants: Slice each croissant open carefully using a serrated knife to create space for the cookie dough filling.
  2. Fill with Cookie Dough: Scoop out 2 tablespoons of cookie dough per croissant, slightly flatten it, and press it inside the bottom half of the sliced croissant.
  3. Close the Croissant: Place the top half of the croissant over the cookie dough to enclose the filling inside the croissant.
  4. Add Topping Dough: Flatten 1 tablespoon of cookie dough per croissant and place it on top of the closed croissant as a topping.
  5. Air Fry: Arrange the stuffed croissants in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes until the croissants are golden and the cookie dough is melty.
  6. Cool and Serve: Remove the crookies from the air fryer, let them set for 5 minutes to slightly firm up before enjoying.

Notes

  • Use refrigerated or frozen cookie dough for ease and convenience.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake at 350°F for about 8–10 minutes in a conventional oven, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
