Liquid Mixture:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon active-dry yeast*
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • extra melted butter, for brushing on top

Instructions

  1. Prep your oven and baking dish. Heat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray, and set aside.
  2. Heat the liquids. In a microwave-safe bowl (or saucepan), stir together the water and melted butter. Add in the milk and honey, then heat the mixture until it reaches 110°F.
  3. Add yeast. Sprinkle the yeast over the liquid mixture, let it activate for 5 minutes until foamy.
  4. Add dry ingredients. Mix in 3 1/2 cups of flour and salt.
  5. Mix. Use a dough hook to mix until smooth. Form dough into a ball and let it rise.
  6. Form the rolls. Divide dough, shape into balls, and let rise again.
  7. Bake. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Brush with more butter. Brush with melted butter.
  9. Serve warm. Enjoy!
